ABOUT US
We are a local and international volunteer community that promotes social and cultural development, cooperation and peace in the Mutur area in Sri Lanka.
The Mutur Peace Center was founded in 2009, in particular, to provide for children.
The region was hit by the civil war and the tsunami. Mutur is a city where a big Muslim community coexists with Tamil and Sinhala populations.
Our main objective is the intercultural exchange between the different realities that exist in diverse parts of the world.

Is promoting equality, mutual understanding, an interreligious and intercultural dialogue in order to make a bridge among the dissimilar points of view.
OUR ACTIVITIES
We work for cooperation and peace through many sporting, linguistic and artistic activities, mainly aimed at children and young people of the local community.
